Cookpad: find & share recipes App Reviews

I hate how I can no longer orient the screen. My case holds my iPad up wide screeen. When this app was Allthecooks I could just leave it in front of my.. I dont have a stand for the portrait view, which for some odd reason is the only way the you can view this app. TERRIBLE!! Please fix and Ill change my rating.

This app now is the worst! Dont waste your time. I want the old one back or if someone knows of a better one, please share. Id give this app NO stars if I could!

This was one of my favorite recipe apps and now it is awful. Required to log in and never had to before. Tried to register and I could not because they said my email address was invalid! Really?!?! Looking for a new cooking app now.

It was so nice to be able to browse by picture before all the cooks was sold to cook pad. I will be switching to the yummly app. They have what I miss about all the cooks.

Used this ap weekly w old version for ideas and recipes. The new version gives you nothing unless you have a specific idea to search. Please change it back.

VERY disappointed!! Ive had this app for years and loved getting on and seeing picture after picture of a variety of yummy foods-it was inspiring! Now I have to have something in mind before I can look at a recipe

Had the old app for over a year. I loved it. This is now the stupidous excuse for a cooking app that it out there!!!

This new Version is garbage. No way to browse easily through recipes others have posted. What a waste of what was a great app previously.

Cant believe how much this app has changed! I loved searching for new recipes. I even would brag to my friends how great it was. Very disappointed.

Use to be one of the best apps for finding recipes. Now its complete garbage. Interface is completely unusable. I recommend Pinterest to anyone wanting to find recipes like allthecooks.

I liked it much better when it was Allthecooks. It was much easier to browse and tag the recipes that I liked. Now I cant tag the recipes I like without "following" the chef???? Besides, I even tried to do that and it didnt work!!! Please go back to the former way, there was nothing wrong with it in the first place.

If its not broke dont fix it. Whoever did this update broke it. Not happy. I do not like the fact that I have to sign in just to use it and I cant scroll recipes with pictures anymore. I will be uninstalling this app and looking up recipes through an actual recipe book or googling it. That is much easier than using this app.

..lost most of my saved recipes, wish i *never* upgraded :( also miss the home screen where u got to browse popular selections at a glance; that made it easy to get inspired and add to favorites. and with a healthy favorite bank, made cookin new foods fresh and exciting. so disappointed. waste of time

Epicurious is my go-to app for recipes but the app itself stinks. This is way better but it doesnt have as fantastic a recipe collection.

This new app is..Ill just say it.. pretty lousy compared to the original All The Cooks app. Half the pictures dont load, it doesnt refresh with new recipes very often, repeats recipes and is very slow. Im only going to keep it long enough to write down all my saved recipes I have from the original app that I used almost daily, then look for an alternative. Sorry Cookpad, but your app just irritates me more than inspires me.

Awesome app! Its very simple to use and to find all kinds of recipes. It really makes cooking more easy and fun!

Old version was much better. Enjoyed being able to just look around at popular recipes and browse for new ideas and recipes. Newest update not as good as the older one. Sorry cook pad.

Real nice Cookpad! Instead of fixing the app, you just eliminate the negative reviews. It used to be a go-to for user submitted recipes. Now, its pure crap. To top it off, Cookpad makes you register so they can keep tabs on you. For a recipe app?? Really???? Pathetic!

Instead of being able to browse, now you have to type or select categories. In the hyper competitive world of mobile apps, telling your customers how its gonna be then ignoring their protests, instead of listening to customers, gets you fewer users. The devs had a chance to respond to massive customer complaints. Heres a massive update with no implementation of customer feedback. Uninstalling. Good luck with ad revenue with zero customers.

Cannot log in. I created an account but it wont let me in. So...I tried to create a new account but a message prompted indicating that an account had already been created. I tried to get a new password and again, a message prompted indicating that the account does not exist. This is crazy!!!
